Hi, I'm Evie. I'm going to show you what to do when you come for laser treatment.  On the day of your appointment, head to 5E and check into the admin desk.  The admin offices will go through some paperwork to check you in.  Once this is done, a nurse will take you for a few more checks.  These may include getting your weight, Checking your temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.

And give you a band with your name on it.  The nursing staff will give you some pain medicine.  The doctor will speak with your special person to make sure everything is set.  The doctor may also draw on you with a white pencil. Don't worry, it'll wash off.

Your special person can stay with you while you're having your laser treatment.  When you're in a theatre, you might need to take some more medication. You'll be asked your name, date of birth and if you have any allergies. This will be a nose spray.  You will be asked to wear special goggles to protect your eyes during the treatment.

The special person will also need to wear goggles.  You will still be able to watch something on your iPad or phone.  When the doctor is ready, cold air will be waved over the area to cool the skin.  The laser feels like an elastic band flicking on your skin. Cold air will be waved over the area once the laser is ready.

Nursing staff will apply moisturiser to the area.  You will wait in the recovery room and have something to eat or drink.  A staff member will contact your family to check if everything is okay. Now you're all done, it's time to head home!
