Meet Frankie
Hi, I’m Frankie! I’m a soft toy puppy. I can help you feel better if you’re hurt or sick. My superpower is helping children feel brave and learn new skills to cope with scary or painful situations. You can cuddle and play with me if you feel scared, sad, lonely, or angry. I’m here when you feel happy too!
Your family can read stories with you about how I’ve helped other children who visited the doctor or hospital.

About us
The Frankie’s Clubhouse team is a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, researchers, parents with lived experience and children’s book authors and illustrators. Over the past 20 years, team members have been creating, evaluating and implementing resources and programs to support mental health in infants and children who have experienced traumatic events. We have partnered with consumers, clinicians and researchers across Australia and internationally to ensure our resources are sensitive, culturally appropriate, evidence-informed and sustainable.
