If you live in the inner Brisbane catchment area, our hospital is your closest.

For health professionals

Please check your patient’s catchment area before referring them to a hospital for treatment. If they don’t live in our catchment area, you’ll need to refer them to their local hospital or health service.

When you should refer your patient to our hospital

You should refer a patient to our hospital if:

• it’s an urgent referral such as new cancer diagnosis
• their local hospital or health service doesn’t provide the treatment they need.
