The Starlight Express Room is a bright, happy place that looks and feels nothing like a hospital.
Whether you’re in hospital for an appointment, a day or longer, you can pop in and enjoy all the fun and games. You can also bring the rest of your family with you.

Opening times
We're open Monday to Friday between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
Who can go?
Everyone's welcome in the Starlight Express Room. If your child is under 8, you must stay with them.
How to get there
Go to level 6 using either the A or B lifts. When you get here, follow the purple feathers on the floor.
Livewire
At night we host Livewire for teenagers. This is a chill out space to connect with others who understand what you're going through.
We're open Monday to Friday between 6 pm and 7:30 pm.
Can’t leave your room at the moment?
You can still have fun, even if you can’t leave your room. We can bring activities straight to your bedside, including books, toys, games, art and craft, or a visit from the Clown Doctors. There’s even a Patient Entertainment System that gives you access to free-to-air TV, Foxtel, radio and the Internet.
Starlight Children’s Foundation
The Starlight Children’s Foundation helps kids of all ages. We work with health professionals to bring the fun, joy and laughter that is essential to sick kids’ health and wellbeing.
