Antidote stocking recommendations

The resources below are recommended antidote stocking for health centres throughout Queensland. The aim of these antidote stocking fact sheets is to balance clinical need with pragmatism, in an effort to rationalise antidote stocking across Queensland Health. Each antidote fact sheet explains the role, dosing, stocking recommendations and its rationale.

Agents that are available readily for other indications do not have specific stocking advice.

Some agents are not recommended for routine stocking given their limited effectiveness.

NOTE: The fact sheets below are about the stocking and use of antidotes in Australia, and may not apply to other countries. Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of information, omissions of information, or any actions that may be taken as a consequence of reading this fact sheet.
