Family and Community Place (Yarrabilba)
The Family and Community Place, located at 3 Darnell Street Yarrabilba, is a purpose built community hub focussed on supporting the growth and development of the thriving Yarrabilba and Logan Rivers community. The hub provides:
- A welcoming place where children and families feel comfortable, accepted and appreciated
- A community space, where cohesive relationships and togetherness will be nurtured and strong community relationships developed
- Fun and flexible health, educational and social programs and services that support the growth and development of children and families
The Family and Community Place is a cross-agency initiative involving government, non-government and private stakeholders. Children’s Health Queensland, in partnership with the Department of Education, provides coordination and delivery of programs and services designed to meet the health, education and social support needs of the emerging community.

Where is the hub?
Do I have to pay to join in the programs and services?
All programs and services are free. Some programs and services require registration, referral or are by appointment only. Come in and see our friendly staff if you would like more information.
If I don’t have children can I still come and use the hub?
Absolutely! The hub is open to anyone in the community to use. Our programs and services are tailored to suit families with children 0-12 years.
What are the opening hours?
The hub is open 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
Is there free wifi internet access in the hub?
Unfortunately there is no free WiFi access.
Is the hub part of the school?
The Family and Community Place shares the grounds with Yarrabilba State School however the hub is a separate facility and provides a range of health, education and social services.
