We hold monthly CPR courses. These are open to anyone, but we encourage parents and carers to go to one. You can bring your baby and child to a session.
Why CPR is important
If your child stops breathing or their heart stops, knowing CPR could save their life. What you do in the minutes before an ambulance arrives can make a big difference.
Our CPR training sessions can help you keep your family safe by learning how to keep calm and give life-saving care in an emergency situation. Eighty percent of cardiac arrests happen at home and every second counts.
Where and when?
Queensland Ambulance Service trainers run the 90 minute courses every month.
Sessions take place held between 12 noon and 1:30 pm in our Education Centre on level 7.
